This week we continue on with the Year of Carpenter with his most politically charged film in 1988's They Live. Carpenter has a lot to say but not a lot of budget. This week on Invasion of the Podcast there is some pre-news talk about lower budget film making (and a spoiler free mini-review of Rob Zombie's Munsters), McDonald's is bring back the Boo Buckets so all of the adults can fight over them, a Steve sighting was seen in California, and completely unrelated to that story it's Fat Bear Week, we start off SpoOoOooOooOkytober by talking about Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter and how it capped off what was intended to be the end of franchise, and Steve challenges Paul to a quiz about Fox Kids Halloween programming. 

Ep. 336 - The Year of Carpenter: Prince of Darkness (1987)!

This week we are joined again by El Goro of the Talk Without Rhythm Podcast to continue one with our Year of Carpenter journey talking about 1987's Prince of Darkness. After some disappointing big budget box office failures, Carpenter returns to his lower budget horror roots with a film that has a lot to say about faith versus science, the nature of evil, and spitting in people's mouths.
